MucosaPlex® - For a healthy intestinal mucosa

The inner lining of the intestine is called the mucosa, which contains glands that produce intestinal juice and enzymes that break down nutrients. The intestinal mucosa is responsible for the resorption (= "take up") of food components and for protection against bacteria and other parasites. The intestinal mucosa is the largest mucous membrane in the human body. Since the mucosa cells are constantly renewed, care should be taken to ensure a regular supply of selected micronutrients to maintain a normal mucosa.

• With a high proportion of beta-carotene, the precursor to vitamin A. Vitamin A supports the maintenance of normal mucous membranes
• Vitamin C, zinc, selenium and manganese help protect cells from oxidative stress

MucosaPlex® is a dietary supplement with a high proportion of ß-carotene, the precursor to vitamin A. Vitamin A supports the maintenance of normal mucous membranes. The recommended daily dose is not suitable for children under the age of 11.
