Special groups of people have an increased need for iron due to special circumstances. In particular, women of childbearing age as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women should pay attention to their iron balance. Through the monthly period, blood is lost, as a result of which iron is excreted at the same time. Children and adolescents in growth, athletes, vegetarians and vegans as well as people with food intolerances and intestinal disorders should also keep an eye on their iron supply.
Another risk group are seniors, as they either eat a one-sided diet or generally eat little iron-rich food (such as .B meat). In order not to slip into an iron deficiency in the first place, a balanced diet is the be-all and end-all. Iron is needed by the human body above all for the production of red blood cells in order to be able to transport oxygen in the blood. Around 2.5 to 4 grams of iron are found in the human organism. Iron is stored mainly in the liver but also in the spleen and bone marrow. In addition, iron is important for many cell functions. For example, it contributes to normal cognitive functions, but also to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the normal functioning of the immune system. Iron tablets have long been used in conventional medicine. Our iron capsules consist of a fungus (A. Oryzae) without the use of additives – this makes it particularly compatible! Compared to the iron preparation Ferroverde® 21 of the same name, Ferroverde 14 is lower dosed and contains 14 mg of iron (Ferroverde® 21 contains 21 mg of iron).
Consume 1 capsule daily with plenty of liquid. Preferably fasting or 1–2 hours after a meal.
MyccoFerrin® complex (acerola fruit juice powder, Aspergillus oryzae powder),
